The 1987 Customer Update Meeting began with a satirical video titled “Microsquash” that traces the history of online retrieval development at Dialog. This meeting celebrated the 25th birthday of Dialog’s initiation of commercial services in 1972. The video was produced by Susan Prather and Bob Simons among others. The video is narrated by Bob who is joined by Michael McCulley and Vibeka Sisodiya.
